1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to rendben.com, the Rendben merchant dashboard, hosted checkout experiences and related developer services. Rendben is the controller of personal data used to operate accounts and the service. Merchants may separately be controllers of customer data they submit to Rendben.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@rendben.com.
2. Data we collect
Google account data
When you choose Continue with Google, we receive the identity information needed to create and secure your Rendben account. This may include your name, email address, profile image, Google account identifier and confirmation that Google verified your email.
Early access data
When you join the early access list, we store the email address you provide, the time you joined and limited security information used to prevent automated abuse. We use this information only for Rendben early access and launch updates.
Merchant and service data
We process information you enter into the dashboard, such as product names, prices, billing settings, merchant wallet addresses, webhook destinations, API key metadata and support messages.
Payment and blockchain data
We may process wallet addresses, transaction signatures, amounts, currencies, timestamps, confirmation status, product references and related merchant records. Public blockchain data is already visible on the relevant network.
Technical and security data
We may collect IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, request logs, cookie identifiers and security events needed to deliver and protect the service.
3. Why we use data
- Provide the service: authenticate users, create workspaces, present products and reconcile transaction status.
- Perform our agreement: administer accounts, calculate service fees and provide requested support.
- Protect Rendben: prevent abuse, investigate errors and secure accounts, APIs and infrastructure.
- Send requested updates: contact people who joined the early access list about access and launch availability.
- Comply with law: keep records or respond to lawful requests when legally required.
- Improve the service: understand reliability and feature usage using proportionate operational information.
Where European data protection law applies, these purposes rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and securing Rendben. Where consent is legally required, we will ask for it separately.
4. How we use Google data
Rendben uses Google account data only to authenticate you, maintain your account and help secure access. We do not request Gmail, Drive or Calendar access.
We do not sell Google user data, use it for targeted advertising or allow humans to read it except when necessary for security, support, legal compliance or with your permission. Google processes the sign-in itself under Google's own terms and privacy policy.
5. Cookies
Rendben currently uses essential cookies required for Google sign-in, session security and basic service operation. These cookies cannot be disabled through a consent control because the requested account service cannot function without them.
We do not currently use advertising cookies. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated first.
6. When data is shared
We disclose data only as needed to operate Rendben:
- to identity, cloud hosting, security, communications and blockchain data providers acting for us;
- to the merchant whose checkout or product you use;
- to professional advisers and authorities where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights;
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition or transfer of the service, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal data.
7. Public blockchain information
Solana transactions are recorded on a public blockchain operated independently from Rendben. Wallet addresses, amounts and transaction signatures written to that network may remain publicly available and cannot be deleted or changed by Rendben. Avoid putting names, email addresses or other unnecessary personal information into onchain fields.
8. International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual protections.
9. Retention
- Account and workspace data is kept while the account is active and normally deleted or anonymized within 90 days after closure.
- Authentication cookies expire according to their security settings or when you sign out.
- Security and request logs are generally kept for up to 12 months.
- Early access email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Support communications are generally kept for up to 24 months after resolution.
- Contract, fee and transaction records may be kept longer where reasonably needed for accounting, disputes, fraud prevention or legal obligations.
Public blockchain records are not controlled by Rendben and may remain available indefinitely.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to receive portable data. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis and complain to your local data protection authority.
Send a request to privacy@rendben.com. We may verify your identity before acting on a request. Rights can be limited where the law permits or requires continued retention.
11. Security and children
We use organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No internet or blockchain service can guarantee absolute security, so merchants must also protect their Google accounts, API keys and wallets.
Rendben is intended for business users aged 18 or older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Rendben develops. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, where appropriate, an account notice.
