1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern access to rendben.com, the Rendben dashboard, checkout tools, APIs, webhooks and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you use Rendben for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization. In these Terms, "you" includes that organization.
2. What Rendben provides
Rendben provides software that helps merchants create products, present wallet-based checkouts, observe blockchain transactions, manage subscriptions and connect payment events to their applications.
Rendben is designed so merchant proceeds go directly to the merchant's designated wallet. Rendben does not maintain a merchant balance or provide a payout service.
Rendben is not a bank, deposit account, exchange, wallet custodian, escrow provider, merchant of record or provider of legal, tax, investment or accounting advice. Regulatory classifications may vary by activity and jurisdiction, and each merchant is responsible for obtaining appropriate advice.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You must provide accurate account information, protect your Google account and promptly report unauthorized access.
Rendben does not currently operate a conventional merchant underwriting or approval queue. We may request information or limit access when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, protect the service or investigate a security issue.
4. Merchant responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- the products, services, descriptions, pricing and promises offered to customers;
- customer support, refunds, disputes, taxes, invoices and consumer-law compliance;
- the accuracy and ownership of wallet addresses configured in your workspace;
- maintaining lawful privacy notices and terms for your customers;
- securing API keys, webhook endpoints, wallets and connected systems;
- confirming that your use of cryptoassets is lawful in every relevant jurisdiction.
Rendben is not a party to the underlying transaction between a merchant and its customer.
5. Payments and finality
Transactions marked as live involve real cryptoassets. They are not a test simulation and may be irreversible once submitted. You must verify addresses, amounts and network details before requesting or approving a transaction.
Dashboard status, webhooks and estimated confirmation times are operational signals, not guarantees of final settlement. Blockchain congestion, wallet behavior, network interruptions, reorganizations and third-party failures can delay or change an observed result. Merchants should independently verify high-value or unusual transactions.
Rendben cannot reverse, freeze, recover or redirect assets sent through a blockchain transaction.
6. Fees
Unless a separate agreement states otherwise, Rendben's service fee is 0.5% of each successful payment. The intended transaction displays or includes the merchant transfer and Rendben fee together.
Blockchain network fees and third-party wallet charges are separate. Fees already earned are non-refundable unless required by law or caused by a confirmed Rendben calculation error. You are responsible for taxes associated with your use of the service.
7. Products and subscriptions
Product and subscription tools help merchants describe billing terms and request customer-authorized payments. Merchants must clearly disclose price, frequency, cancellation and refund terms before a customer subscribes.
Rendben does not guarantee that a recurring payment will complete. A wallet may lack funds, authorization may expire, the customer may revoke access, or the network may reject the transaction.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Rendben for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or abusive activity, including:
- sanctions evasion, money laundering, terrorist financing or stolen assets;
- malware, credential theft, phishing, ransomware or unauthorized access;
- illegal goods or services, exploitation, harassment or infringement;
- misleading payment requests, impersonation or manipulation of transaction records;
- interference with Rendben, excessive automated traffic or attempts to bypass security controls.
9. APIs and developer access
API keys are confidential credentials. You must restrict access, rotate exposed keys and use signed webhooks and independent transaction verification where appropriate. You may not resell access to the Rendben API or misrepresent another service as being operated or endorsed by Rendben.
Rate limits, endpoints and developer requirements may change to preserve security and reliability. We will provide reasonable notice when a change materially affects a stable integration where practicable.
10. Third-party services
Rendben depends on services and networks we do not control, including Google authentication, wallet software, blockchain networks and infrastructure providers. Your use of them may be governed by separate terms. Rendben is not responsible for their availability, security decisions or acts.
11. Preview features and availability
Features identified as preview, concept or beta may be incomplete, display sample data or change without notice. Rendben will identify when transaction processing is live. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service and may perform maintenance, address security risks or discontinue features.
12. Intellectual property
Rendben and its software, design, documentation, branding and content are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for your internal business purposes.
You retain ownership of your content and grant Rendben the limited permission needed to host, process and display it to provide the service. Feedback may be used to improve Rendben without restriction or payment.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Rendben at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, unlawful activity, nonpayment or conduct that threatens users or the service. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
Termination does not reverse blockchain transactions or remove public blockchain records. Provisions that logically survive termination, including fees owed, intellectual property, disclaimers and liability limitations, remain effective.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rendben is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted availability.
Cryptoassets and blockchain systems involve operational, regulatory and market risks. Rendben does not guarantee asset value, wallet compatibility, transaction completion or the conduct of merchants or customers.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rendben will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost cryptoassets or business interruption.
Rendben's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees you paid to Rendben during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Rendben against third-party claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your products, customer relationships, unlawful use, breach of these Terms or infringement of another person's rights.
17. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where appropriate, communicated through the dashboard. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without consent. Rendben may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing or transfer of the service.
18. Governing law and contact
Unless mandatory consumer or local law provides otherwise, disputes will be governed by the law applicable where the Rendben service operator is established and brought before the competent courts there. Before filing a formal claim, both sides agree to attempt a good-faith resolution for 30 days.
